The Scientia Journal, supports the open sharing of research and helps authors archive their work in line with international open access practice. Authors may place any version of their manuscript in institutional, subject-specific, or general repositories, with no embargo period.
Preprint (Submitted Version)
This is the version sent to the journal before peer review. Authors can deposit it in any repository or preprint server, such as AgriXiv or arXiv. It must be clearly marked as not peer reviewed. Where possible, a citation or link to the final published version should be added.
Author’s Accepted Manuscript (AAM / Post print)
This is the peer-reviewed and accepted version, but before the journal’s typesetting or formatting. Authors may deposit it right away in institutional or subject repositories, or on platforms like ResearchGate (https://www.researchgate.net) and Academia.edu (https://www.academia.edu). A suggested statement is: “This is the accepted manuscript of an article published in The Scientia Journal. The final version is available at [insert DOI or journal link].”
Version of Record (Published Version)
This is the final, formatted version published by the journal. Authors may archive it without restriction on any platform, including institutional and general repositories such as Zenodo (https://zenodo.org) or Figshare (https://figshare.com). A citation and link to the official version must be included.
